You will see the smile of a man who just accomplished building his truck and trailer fully. Down to the smallest detail, he imagined this truck in his head as he trucked over the road for the past 39 years. It’s not Dale’s first large ride, and his smile is probably not even caused by it. You see, Mr. Ricks’ way of life is a commitment to hard work – he never stopped trucking 5-6 days a week. Few people smile like this, but it sure leaves a mark when you see it. How did he do it? “I stuck with it through the good times and bad. There will always be hard times with slow freight and low rates over the years, but you still gotta get the job done, and you gotta stick with it.” Many question how to succeed in trucking – how to win – but the answer is simple: work hard and stick with it!
