<\/a>There are lines upon the highway, with power lines above,
\nLines within our hearts, we draw, and lines we cross for love.
\nThere\u2019s a line there at the fuel desk, and lines out at the pump,
\nLines along your frame, to let your air suspension dump.<\/p>\nThere are lines to get unloaded, and lines to get checked in,
\nLines out at the chicken coop, to weigh your rig again.
\nThere are lines we have to stop at, and lines we get to roll,
\nLines to place your signature, and lines to pay a toll.<\/p>\n
There are lines to park between, and lines where you can\u2019t park,
\nLines to help you find your way, in fog or in the dark.
\nThere are lines across my pretty face, from squinting in the sun,
\nLines from smiling all these years, for having so much fun.<\/p>\n
We roll our big Freightliners, or pull for some Freight Line,
\nBut our free and wild spirits, just won\u2019t let us fall in line.
\nAll these lines have prompted me, to read between the lines,
\nLines are like a mile marker, representing time.<\/p>\n
So line up and be counted, and let your beauty shine,
\nTell someone you love them, while you\u2019ve got \u2018em on the line.
\nNow head out on the highway, and let that diesel whine,
