These are some crazy times, aren’t they?! This virus has thrown everything into a tailspin. Hopefully, by the time this poem goes to print, we\u2019ll see some people going back to work and some normalcy start returning to our daily lives. I feel terrible for those who have been sorely affected by this virus, and by the economic impacts it has caused. Hang in there, folks, we will bounce back. Our economy will boom again and maybe more of us will have a renewed appreciation for the freedoms this great country has fought for. God will always turn things around for the good. Maybe He\u2019s using this event to get our attention and draw us closer to Himself and our families. I don\u2019t know, but I do know this, it seems like the general public has sparked a new interest and appreciation for the importance and significance of truck drivers! That gives us a new opportunity to revive that hero, role-model status that we used to have in the eyes of the public, the media, and the movies. Let\u2019s use this time to polish up our image while the nation is paying attention, and perhaps our collective voices, mixed with our undeniable vital role in the economy, could get some policy changes moving in our favor (like ELDs, HOS, and other unreasonable regulations). That\u2019s just my thoughts \u2013 naive as they may be. The fact is, the country needs us, and they are beginning to realize it more and more these days. The stores are struggling to keep up with panic demands, and people are willing to go to extremes to obtain even the simplest of necessities. It\u2019s absurd, really. Be safe out there, my friends. Keep your wits about you and know that you are being seen and heard now. I\u2019ve seen several banners hanging from overpasses up and down the west coast, that simply read \u201cThank You Truckers!\u201d and I echo their sentiments. Thank you! Keep on truckin!! And in these trying times, let\u2019s do our best to just Roll With It.<\/p>\n

Anybody wanna trade,
\nI\u2019m looking for a deal.
\nI\u2019ve got a priceless item,
\nAnd these desperate times are real.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m looking for a set of stacks,
\nAnd quarter-fenders, too.
\nA set of low-pro tires,
\nAnd an air ride seat or two.<\/p>\n

I wouldn\u2019t mind some fancy parts,
\nBut I\u2019d barter other things.
\nMaybe that old Harley,
\nOr some precious stones and rings.<\/p>\n

Muscle cars and classic trucks,
\nAnd other things like these.
\nI might consider swapping,
\nFor investment properties.<\/p>\n

\nAnd rare collectibles.
\nA fountain that might make my age,
\nMore undetectable.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m mostly into semi-trucks,
\nI\u2019d take a long hood Pete.
\nAnd trade you for this thing I\u2019ve got,
\nThat simply can\u2019t be beat.<\/p>\n

So, what have I to offer,
\nThat\u2019s as priceless as your soul?
\nAn almost new and gently used,
