The Spirit Of The American Trucker – November 2012

One of the best things about owning your own truck is that you can turn it into a billboard that screams, “Like it not, this is me” – and then hit the road on your own promotional tour.  Millions of drivers will see it, trucking magazines will take pictures of it, and people will either love it or hate it.  But, whether you build a cool head-turning truck or not, you will still be on a promotional tour, representing truckers to the general public on a daily basis while out on the road.  So, quit slacking off and start taking pride in your ride – and yourself.  The future of this great industry depends on it!

This is very true article! Because the truck here is mine and I have know idea when it was taken and that’s the cool thing about it. I love the compliments when you pull in to unload and load it makes the company look good and ensures the customer that if this driver takes that good of care of his truck my product is in good hands. Polishing is my way of getting out and moving around working up a sweat. Alot of trucker’s say they don’t have the time. That’s BS I sure see alot of truck’s sitting in the lots at noon and I don’t see any cleaning. People need to start caring about them selves and their job. Be PROUD to be a Truck Driver. Life only stinks if you make it! GET OUT AND POLISH!!!!

Well said, Joe. You got a great-looking truck, too. Congratulations, and thanks!! Daniel Linss – Editor, 10-4 Magazine
