GET READY FOR THE TRUCK
DRAGS AND 10-4 DAY!
Every year on October 4th, we at 10-4 Magazine celebrate “10-4 Day” – our official annual holiday. It is supposed to be the one day of the year when our offices are closed, but this year “10-4 Day” occurs during a truck show, so I guess we will all be working. The good thing about that is that we get to celebrate with our friends, readers and advertisers. We will be at the Truckin’ for Kids Show & Drags on October 4th in Irwindale, CA and invite you to come out and have some fun with us at the show – which is a great annual charity event (visit www.truckinforkids.org). This is the 15th year that we have been involved with this show! There will be a special area near our booth called “10-4 Alley” that will feature several of our past cover trucks, as well as many other special contests, giveaways and discount deals on 10-4 stuff. We will also debut a new 10-4 shirt at the show, so get there early to buy yours (they go fast). If you buy a shirt and put it on or wear one that you already have to the event, you will be eligible to enter a giveaway to win prizes and/or cash, so be sure to wear your 10-4 shirt and to come by our booth. Also, we will be walking the lot looking for one special truck to be chosen for an upcoming cover, which we will announce during the award ceremony. So shine it up and bring it out to the show – which for 29 years has been “A Good Time for a Great Cause!” thanks to the hard work of Frank & Dianna Pangburn and a devoted crew of volunteers. Over the years, this event has raised over $550,000 for various children’s charities! So come out and join the fun – we look forward to seeing you there!
