Are you a trucker that needs a break? Well, here is your chance to get one (or two). Arrow Truck Sales is now accepting nominations for their “Back On The Road” contest, designed to benefit a deserving owner operator in need of a truck and a job. People across the nation are encouraged to visit www.backontheroad2008.com to submit stories about themselves, their friends or family members. At the end of the campaign, one owner operator will receive a 2005 VNL 670, a one-year work agreement and the chance to get back behind the wheel. To help make this program a success, Arrow Truck Sales is joining forces with Volvo Trucks North America, Heartland Express, the Owner Operator Independent Drivers Association (OOIDA), National Truck Protection, Inc. (NTP), and ATBS. After a nationwide search, Arrow and its industry associates will present the winner with a customized 2005 VNL 670 (similar to the one pictured here), provided by Volvo, and a one-year work agreement compliments of Heartland Express. OOIDA and NTP will provide the winner with insurance and a warranty, respectively. In addition to these essentials, the winner will receive business services from ATBS to help get his or her business on track. Arrow will accept nominations until January 15, 2008 at www.backontheroad2008.com. The winner will be announced in March 2008 and will receive the truck at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Kentucky. Arrow invites people to nominate friends, family members, associates and themselves for this opportunity.
